Individuals 15 and over who don't weigh more than 240 lbs and can run, jump, squat, and lift heavy objects (40-50 lbs). Special circumstances will be considered. All participants need to adhere to Rangers Pathfinders Values and Rules of Conduct.
Learn, sweat, and have fun. We will start with hands on fundamental Rangers Pathfinders skills that are important to achieve safety and efficiency. This is the Rangers Pathfinders way.
The adventure will start the first day, but step by step... ooooh, man! During the Initial Course's trainings and exercises you will acquire the skills that will transform you into a competent and safe operator able to face longer and more complicated challenges.
Yes, they are, as much as possible. Outdoor activities have a certain inherent level of risk, for that reason Rangers Pathfinders have developed a structure that will help you stay safe, just make sure to follow the instructions.
GENERAL
Rangers Pathfinders LLC is a non religious, political, or military organization. However, due to the nature of the training program, some military drills and emergency & rescue techniques will be used. Many of the techniques, chain of command rules, training, skills, and protocols used in the organization have been created by Rangers Pathfinders LLC.
Rangers Pathfinders LLC is a trade marked brand.
Rangers Pathfinders LLC is a private outdoor adventure organization, our trainings are designed for a limited number of participants.
Any person interested in becoming a member of Rangers Pathfinders LLC must fill in the registration form and package forms.
Rangers Pathfinders' uniforms, patches, equipment, and vehicles must not be used for purposes other than Rangers Pathfinders exercises, trainings and operations. If a member desires to use one of the items mentioned above in public and outside of Rangers Pathfinders' activities, this member must inform the organization leadership of such intentions.
Participants that miss a training session can make up the session by participating in a session in another training area, which should be done within a month.
Rangers Pathfinders will provide an official black t-shirt, khaki cap and an ID Card with the membership registration. These can be subject to change without prior notice.
Rangers Pathfinders TRU uniforms and its variations, t-shirts, patches, berets, boonie hats, dog tags, physical training shorts (silkies,) and caps must be obtained through the Rangers Pathfinders organization for uniformity purposes. Other items necessary for the activities is the responsibility of every participant, but most of the training equipment will be provided on a collective basis.
A participant can buy the official Rangers Pathfinders collective use items for his exclusive personal use in the activities, but these items should comply with the Rangers Pathfinders standards and uniformity. Some of these items are helmets and helmet covers, googles, harnesses, carabiners, ropes, PFD's, compasses, radios, snorkeling sets (mask-snorkel-fins), tents, hatches/tomahawks, machetes, first aid kits, seal lines (water proof bags) and whistles. Other items could be added or removed in the future.
Backpacks, boots, gloves, shemaghs, bandanas, personal knives, camel bags, water containers, tactical vests and pouches, tactical belts, watches, sunglasses are all considered Individual Basic Equipment (IBE). Each participant should provide these personal item by himself. A list with specific items will be provided during your training sessions.
Participants can change their assigned training area by pre-approved request,contact your instructor.
Visitors are not allowed during the Rangers Pathfinders training sessions, exercises and operations, unless specifically authorized by your Instructor in advance.
If a participant is aware that he is going to arrive late for a session, he should contact the instructor in charge to notify him and obtain further instructions. During the course of the session, your group may have to walk away from the initial gathering point, which will make it very hard for you to find them.
CANCELLATIONS, WITHDRAWALS, and FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS
The monthly fee is not refundable and is nontransferable. If any participant decides to withdraw during the month or if any participant is unable to attend training session(s), he will not receive a refund.
If an aspirant ,who has not graduated from the Initial Course, wants to take a break from the monthly sessions, he would need to discuss this with his instructor and might not be able to rejoin the training until the next cohort of aspirants reaches the unit where he left off, which could take a number of months.
If a Ranger Pathfinder, who has already graduated from the Initial Course, wants to take a break from the monthly sessions, he would need to discuss this with his instructor and might be able to rejoin as soon as he is ready to start making monthly payments. There might be a limit of how long a Ranger Pathfinder is allowed to take a break before he might have to retake the Initial Course.
Any participant's membership can be cancelled by Rangers Pathfinders LLC if there are reasons that support such membership cancellation. Specifically, membership can be cancelled if the participant violates RP Code of Conduct or acts in a way that, in the opinion of the Rangers Pathfinders' leadership, violates Rangers Pathfinders values and philosophies. If any participant is asked to withdraw during a month due to such violations, he will not receive a refund for that month.
